Quad axle fuel tanker semi trailers – A first on Australian roads and, not one – but two – almost simultaneously delivered out of both Victorian and Queensland plants.
The Victorian unit was built for Evans Petroleum from Gippsland, and the Queensland unit was delivered to Simpson Fuel Supplies in NSW.
Both units are 6-compartment, 48,500-Ltr gross capacity under PBS, and feature a rear steer axle allowing them to track no different to a standard tri-axle semi.
